ROAN MOUNTAIN, Tenn. — Watching the Cloudland Highlanders prepare for the upcoming season, one thing stands out immediately this is a team being shaped by both experience and new energy.

The roster is a mix of seasoned seniors and younger players still finding their rhythm, and that balance shows throughout practice. There’s a steady presence from the older group, while the younger players bring energy and a willingness to learn. Together, they create a team still forming its identity but doing so with purpose.
